 If anyone doesn't know Pool Boy's canon, he has a tendency to break the 4th wall (and 16th on occasion), and spew pop culture references as easily as breathing. He's also incredibly violent.

As such, I will be checking permissions posts for 4th wall breakage permission, BUT I'd also like to know if you have any specific requests. Like, he can know who your character is, but not reference plot points, or whatever. He is a pop culture junkie and will just fanboy about people if left unchecked - but I don't want to step on any toes.

Note - this mostly applies to movie and TV characters. He's not a gamer and not familiar with much anime (with the exception of anime that was shown in the 80s, like Voltron). So if you play someone from Final Fantasy or some other video game, he's not going to know who you are. 

Also note - this post is especially important for Voltron characters. I know there's quite a few in game right now and he canonically LOVES the show. 

So, If you could take a moment and fill this out for your characters I would really appreciate it. Also, if I ever slip up or go beyond what you're comfortable with, please please please message me and let me know. and I will edit and correct it. I don't want DP's 4th wall breakage to interfere with awesome game times and potentially great CR!

Canon: The Legend of the Legendary Heroes (no, no it does not sound better in Japanese...)
Can Deadpool break the 4th wall around your character? (i.e. general 4th wall breakage, talking to players etc): SURE. You may or may not get a good IC reaction, but OOCly I'm always done with this.
Can Deadpool recognize your character?: Absolutely. Sion's a well-known person back in his own world so it's not entire odd for someone to know what he is... He'll just think Deadpool's crazy if he starts talking about anime or Japanese or some weird stuff like that
Are there any limitations to that recognition?: OOCly, for the most part no. The only thing is I don't want Sion ICly spoiled on events that happen later in his canon (there... are some doozies that'd majorly impact his attitude). But yeah I mean he's from a Japanese light novel series that got one season of anime back in 2010 so that's entirely up to you if Deadpool would have somehow managed to hear of it anyway. XD
Questions, comments, concerns: BASICALLY in OOC terms I'm happy to roll with anything. I like playing out IC drama and conflict just as much as happy fun times. However, it's possible to ICly cross the line from "you're weird and crazy but whatever" to "you're crazy and suspicious and I refuse to trust you." To know where this IC line is, you need to know a few things about Sion's canon:

- The world and the people in it were basically created by a bunch of "goddesses" as the components of a gigantic spell to seal away a demon and a mad god who was killing said goddesses
- This "spell" of sorts operates on a thousand-year cycle before resetting; the current cycle has about ten years left before the world ends
- Sion is the current human vessel of aforementioned mad god; this gives him both some fun powers like godslaying black swords and some unpleasant side effects like being locked in a constant mental battle of wills with said entity, amongst other things
- Sion knows all of the above
- Very, very few people know any of the above, and those that do generally have some connection with the goddesses/demon/etc

So basically, those particular topics/details, or things that sound a bit too much like them, are a good way to get Sion to go from being genuinely friendly to suspicious to flat-out distrustful very rapidly. He'll still act polite/friendly, but it'd be a facade.

Mind you, talking about what's clearly some other world that coincidentally has a few similarities in some things is still fine, this is just a very specific set of things that could have a major effect on interactions. Other than that Sion.... he tolerates a lot of odd people in canon. He's downright friends with some particular weirdos. He even cares about the people plotting against him and his friends and would rather peacefully win them over than have them killed if he could! SO yeah, OOCly I'm cool with whatever, ICly just tread carefully of those particular topics if you don't want pretty much the only negative IC reaction that'd be absurdly difficult to recover from. :|b
